The cottage was well-equipped with a full kitchen and good quality WIFI. the location was also convenient, with plenty of walks and attractions nearby. the view from the cottage was beautiful and added to the overall experience.

The bed was uncomfortable, with lumpy springs that made noise every time we moved. It was difficult to get a good night's sleep.

The location of the cottage was great, with plenty of amenities and activities nearby. The village itself was charming with lots of things to see and do. There were beautiful waterfalls, a scenic railway, and a lovely water mill all within a short distance from the cottage. It was also a great base for exploring the surrounding area, with challenging hikes available for those looking for adventure.

The size of the cottage was a bit disappointing for the price. It was quite small and would not have been suitable for more than a long weekend stay.

The location of this place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views and easy access to local pubs and walking trails. the cottages are well equipped with everything you need, including a SKY package, DVDs, books, playing cards. the owners have clearly put a lot of effort into making the cottages comfortable and providing useful information.

The lack of a larger sofa in the cottages can make it difficult to fully relax and stretch out, especially for taller individuals.

I had a fantastic stay at a beautiful, 500-year-old cottage nestled in a remote and peaceful location. The hosts were incredibly supportive, offering great recommendations for nearby walks and attractions. The cottage itself was stunning, with modern appliances and a freshly renovated kitchen. The Wi-Fi was decent, allowing for most online activities. it was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend it for a relaxing getaway. I would definitely recommend this accommodation.

We absolutely loved our stay at the cozy cottage in Boot. It was the perfect size for the two of us and had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, great WIFI, and satellite TV. The view from the cottage was breathtaking and we enjoyed the peaceful sound of the nearby creek. The location was ideal, with plenty of beautiful walks and hikes right at our doorstep. The staff, especially Bob the caretaker, were friendly and helpful, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable. We felt safe and secure throughout our visit and appreciated the informative guidebook provided by the host, which helped us explore the surrounding area and discover some hidden gems. We highly recommend this charming cottage for a delightful stay in the Lake District!

The food for breakfast could have been improved with more variety and options.

The value for money was excellent, and the room was beautifully appointed with a well-equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom. The location was breathtaking, with a river flowing through the peaceful back garden and charming pubs within walking distance. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable.

Breakfast delights could be enhanced by offering a wider selection of options.

The location of the cottages is perfect for hikers and provides stunning views. There are plenty of walking trails right from the doorstep, offering both challenging and easy routes. there are several pubs within a short walking distance where you can enjoy a meal and drinks. the cottages themselves are cozy and well-appointed, providing a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The kitchen in the cottage was poorly equipped, with cheap, mismatched glasses and limited storage space due to locked cupboards.

The location of Bridge End Farm Cottages was absolutely stunning, surrounded by gorgeous scenery and offering easy access to fantastic hikes. We loved being able to explore the nearby trails, including the start of the Scafell and Great Gable climbs. The cottage itself was warm, cosy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a good kitchen. We also appreciated the reliable wifi, which allowed us to stay connected. The two nearby pubs served delicious food and were just a short walk away. Additionally, driving up and down the Hardknott Pass was a thrilling experience for us. we had a wonderful time at Bridge End Farm Cottages and would highly recommend it to others.

The cottage had a stunning view and was well-equipped, making our Christmas stay comfortable. The nearby pubs offered delicious food and local ales, and we enjoyed the hum of the river and chirping birds. The cottage was also conveniently located within walking distance of a narrow gauge railway, which was a fun activity to do.

It would have been beneficial to have a stronger internet connection, especially since there were no alternative means of communication. the local shop owner was grumpy and unfriendly, which dampened our experience.

The accommodation had a beautiful and spacious lounge, perfect for spending time together or relaxing. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were nice. The well-equipped kitchen was a great advantage. the location offered lovely walks nearby and there was delicious food at the local pub.

There were a few minor inconveniences during our stay. We also found it challenging to find instructions for operating the DVD player and the supposed Sky box was not visible.

I recently stayed at a charming cottage in the Lake District for 4 nights. The peaceful and quiet setting, along with the stunning garden and dramatic surroundings, made for a truly relaxing stay. The cottage itself had everything I needed and more, from a SKY package and DVDs to complimentary biscuits, coffee, and tea. The owners truly thought of everything, providing all the creature comforts and even warning about the distance to the supermarket. The proximity to two lovely pub restaurants was a bonus, and the helpful advice provided by the hosts made the experience even more enjoyable.

Beautiful location with a shared garden and riverfront, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The cottages were well-equipped with a kitchen stocked with teas, coffees, milk, and biscuits. The bedsheets, towels, and bedding were clean and comfortable. We had a great time exploring the surroundings, including the nearby lake, Scafell Pike, and the beach. The local pubs served delicious food and had friendly staff. The host, Greg, provided excellent communication and guidance, ensuring our travel and entry went smoothly. we had an amazing time and definitely plan on coming back.

Some instructions in the house book were out of date, which caused a minor inconvenience in finding the keys upon arrival. The closest supermarket was a bit far, around 30 minutes away, and the cottage itself felt a bit small, with a table that was in the way.
